Bethel Players
It’s that time of year again and the Bethel Players have a new play for you! It’s a western and sure to please! Join in the fun and entertainment as the Bethel Players present True(ish) Grit: A Desperate Housewives Tale! Want to attend one of the performances? Call or email to reserve your seat…Make sure you give your name, contact info, and what performance you’d like to attend. Someone will reach out to you to confirm. Payments are by check and Venmo. When we receive your payment you are good to go! Thank you for supporting us!!
Bethel Bees Food Ministry Program
Join our volunteers helping to make meals with our partners at Renaissance Commons every 4th Thursday of the month. We prepare a meal to share in our kitchen then transport it down the road to share it with our friends down the street. Volunteeers to help cook and serve are always welcomed!
Breakfast and Lunch Prep for Summer Youth Program: Bethel Bees have been asked to help prepare breakfasts and lunches for the kids enrolled in the Summer Youth Program. Pease Come join the hive and make a difference in our community!
Cabaret & Cabernet Night
Cabaret & Cabernet Night is a fun and festive annual spring fundraiser. The Bethel Youth Drop In Center receives all proceeds. Therefore, Bethel YDIC can provide scholarships for children in our after school care and 6 week Summer Day Camp programs. In addition, your support will help pay for field trips, craft supplies and defray summer learning tuition at the University. Although Bethel YDIC operates in partnership with Bethel Lutheran Church, it does not offer religious instruction or programs and is it governed by its own board of directors.
Block Party
Annual Community Outreach Event- The Bethel Lutheran Block Party and Rummage Sale is an annual Overlook neighborhood community event that takes place, in the fall , on a Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM. Bethel provides free music and food, kids’ entertainment and a variety of rummage items to choose from.
The Block Party and Rummage Sale are a great way for visitors to to learn about Bethel Lutheran Church, the Bethel Youth Drop-In Center, and the various programs and volunteer opportunities offered, while having fun.

Garden Project
Getting the garden up and going is a big project where many hands are needed. Are you a gardener who is interested in growing food for our community? This garden is meant to glean vegetables to all who are in the community and in need. Interested in volunteering? To sign up either email or call the office
Parking Lot Conversion Project
The Bethel community is reconsidering how we use our parking lot. We have a multi-year plan to revitalize this space to help mitigate storm water runnoff, to invite friendly pollonators, and allow our community to utilize our space, while also keeping some parking spaces available as well.
Monthly Jazz Concerts
Join with the Bethel Community for a free jazz concert every 4th Sunday at 4pm in the Bethel sanctuary. Our friends Northwest Tempo have a rotating roster of jazz musicians that play all sorts of jazz standards. There are free refreshments provided, and any donations received go to pay our talented musicians.
